It failed the paper test. The suction is so poor it cannot hold a piece if paper or suction vapor blown under the vent. It is so loud you cannot hear the TV or the person standing next to you by the stove. 2 technicians from separate companies have looked at it. Both acknowledged the problems. Neither were familiar with this brand. The first called his supervisor then left with no resolution, except that maybe this is how it is. The second said he would order a new fan, but 3 weeks later he still cannot get ahold of JennAir tech support per the company.

Great replacement for my over the range microwave hood.

I wanted to replace our microwave hood with a real hood. This is an ideal product because it is built with standard 3 1/4" x 10" ducting which hooked up directly to my existing duct work. Although it is loud on high, the 600 cfm blower doesn't seem to choke as much as I thought it might, trying to force so much air through smaller duct work. Very well built. All stainless inside and out.

I'm so glad I got this hood with the range. Looks great too. It takes the heat away from the range quickly whether I have the oven on or just cooking in pots. The exhaust isn't too loud I can hear other noises going on in the house. I can hear the TV and other people talking.
