Service has been awful

I bought this microwave in February of this year and have nothing but issues since. The sensor on the door does not recognize that the door is closed and thus won't allow you to heat anything. I placed the original service request in on July 3rd and problem still exists. Last service appt was 4 weeks ago at which point I was told a part needed ordered, haven't heard from them since. Called Maytag with help on this issue just this week and they were no help either. I would not recommend any Whirlpool or Maytag products as the service has been terrible.

My Maytag Over-the-Range Microwave has proven to be a very fine piece of equipment. The features are great; operating the unit is easy and, the unit looks great, too.

I have be very pleased with it so far other than the light bulb to light up the stove burned out with in two months of install. Went to HD to buy replacement and they didn't have one. I have looked locally and can't find the short 40Watt bulb anywhere.
