I've been using this microwave for a couple of weeks now and it seems to be working great. It works quickly and is fairly quiet while in use. It was somewhat difficult to install and some of the features are not very intuitive but the manual explains everything clearly

Our 15-16 year old Maytag gave out just as company was to arrive for the weekend so this microwave oven was purchased under some duress. White was hard to find. This one was readily available from a dealer we trusted. Surprisingly, we are enjoying the intuitive simplicity of operation, adequate functionality and good looks. Only set back is the large (full width) exhaust air opening at the front/top of the unit. Our oven vents to the rear therefore the "recirculating vent" opening is no longer required. This leaves the oven vulnerable to dust entering it and also things falling out of the cabinet above into the unit. We are awaiting a response from Whirlpool regarding the availability of a snap in cover to blank off this long narrow opening. We were hopeful that our next microwave oven would have the inverter technology built into it for even defrosting of frozen food which our new model does not have. It hasn't been a real issue so far.
