Our home was built August 2016 by MidAtlantic builders and this oven was the basic model that came with the house. I now wish I would have upgraded to the KitchenAid double oven. We bake breads, cookies and brownies a lot and it is difficult keeping our bake goods from burning on the bottom. My mom has been making corn pudding for years and we attempted to cook it in our oven and it NEVER thoroughly cooked in the center. Now, I will say that I have not had trouble cooking meals, like chicken, meats, and other dishes. However, when it comes to baking breads, cookies, and making dishes that have a liquid base, this is definitely not the oven. We had a repairman from Whirlpool come out and he checked the temp. I watched the temperature gauge fluctuate from 310 degrees all the way up to 460 degrees while the oven was set at 350 degrees. I guess that explains why my biscuits, cookies, etc. are always burning on the bottom before cooking thoroughly. The final verdict was that the oven is set up that way was what I was told by the tech and whirlpool representative. I was also told that I may need to try new bakeware, although I just brought new bakeware. I also just realized that my bottom oven isn't reaching up to 450 degrees when set. I was baking some fries at 450 degrees according to the direction. I could literally put my face in the oven without it heating my face. I know when my past ovens where set at 450 degrees, I would have to turn my face away from the oven because of the heat. Not this one, it was barely hot. I will definitely agree with the others that the fan is extremely loud during cooking and when cooling. But, as far as it being great to cook in, I disagree. So I will conclude by saying that this isn't a horrible oven, but I would not recommend it due to the uneven baking. Oh I meant to add that the self-clean feature works great. Just know that it is also loud with a not so great smell when cleaning, but that's to be expected.

I am so happy with my oven. It looks amazing and love all the baking options. Most oven glass is hot to the touch. What a nice surprise to find that the heat is that well contained that the glass only gets moderately warm.
