I have only had the seven for about a month but so far so good. It heats up quickly and is easy to use.

I purchased this oven three years ago. Recently the baking element exploded and the Maytag repair man declared it "unrepairable". The customer service dept. told us they were "sorry" but could give us a discount on a replacement. Why anyone with a brain would want another shoddy piece of workmanship is ridiculous. We have bought Maytag for decades and never have had a problem. Part of our loyalty was due to their excellent customer service and sense of fairness. This is no longer the case. My advice is to avoid this oven and if you choose this brand expect to be dismissed by customer service and to learn a very expensive lesson.
