We have only had it for a couple of weeks. But thus far it has operated just fine. An excellent replacement for our well used, well loved previous stove.

I bought this about a month ago and I absolutely love it! It was an upgrade from the basic stove. The flat top is my favorite thing about it. If something spills I dont have to take it apart to clean :)
