I bought a Whirlpool 6.4 Cu. Ft. Freestanding Electric Range with AquaLift® Self-Cleaning Technology WFE540H0EH. It has convection as well as a regular bake setting which I like. I like the glass cook top. I had one boil-over so far. It was easy to clean up although you have to wait until the cook top cools. I still have some burnt on stains from the boil over, but I think I could buy a special cleaner for that. I have not researched cleaners yet. The black color of the cook top somewhat hides the stains. The drawer at the bottom is a lot smaller than my old range. It can only store one pan. I think it is supposed to be a warming drawer, but I have not used it that way. I like the timer, cook time, and delayed time features. I am replacing a range that was about 40 years old.

We were replacing an Amana that died and wanted certain features that matched this stove. The cooktop surface is much easier to clean than our Amana which was horrible to stain at every use. The surface isn't impossible to stain though, we did manage to impart something that looks like water spots on the main burner location, but I'd take that over the brown marks we had to deal with before. The size of the over allows for multiple heights of things to cook. Good stove.

Spacious oven...easy to clean ceramic top. Slower to preheat oven and burner units than my previous stove...just need to plan ahead a bit more.

After 17 years it was time to replace our electric range. It still worked fine, but it was time to upgrade. My wife and I looked at different styles and after much debate, picked this flat top. The colors drew us in. Black range top, white with stainless trim. Very sharp and fits with the rest of our kitchen. Love the ease of cleaning the flat top and boy does it heat up in a hurry! Definitely fits our needs perfectly!
