I have a WG1925C0BS 30" wide double oven induction stove , s/n D44615807. It was purchased 12/5/2014 at which time I purchased an extended warranty and glad I did. On 3/7/2016 my cooktop made a loud pop and displayed error codes EC0021,E0300,M0430. Whirlpool payed to have it fixed but it took a lot of phone calls and a month to get it fixed. Via the company that fixed it were great once they got the order. Well here we are 16 months later and my stove and ovens are not working again. This time the burners would change to boost even though I set them in 6. Then they stopped working at all, after turning off our main breaker to the stove 3 times it came back on but started doing the same thing, so we turned it off. When we turned it back on again it gave us a code of F47 and was beeping every 10 seconds so we turned it off and did not turn on until 8/28 I figured that the oven would work so I figured I could bake a pizza but when I tried to set the temp and hit start I got a code that said this feature not available which was the same thing it said 16 months ago until they repaired it. So now I am concerned if this is going to be an ongoing thing every year. My extended warranty will run out in 2019 at which point if it happens I guess I will be shopping for a new stove but it won't be a Whirlpool. I am very dissapointed with my stove. I love induction but not happy because it takes about 3 weeks to get it fixed. I called on 8/21/17 with problem, extended warranty companyreplied on 8/24, repair company came out on 8/29 has to order parts so he will be back on 9/6 to install parts. So I am without a stove for 3 weeks again. The first time I was without a stove over 4 weeks.

When we first purchased this stove it worked great. This was our first introduction to Induction cooking and so far it has lived up to all of the positive reviews. Induction cooking is the way to go. It heats up fast and is very energy efficient. If I could rate the stovetop it would get a 5 out of 5, however, this is where the positive review of the stove ends. 18 months after purchasing it the broil element in the top oven burned out. The element caught fire and filled the oven and kitchen with a thick grey sooty smoke. A replacement element (in canadian dollars) cost us $250 and when the element burned out, it also burned out the control board that runs the stoves. That also cost us an additional $260. This week the bottom stove failed and put a "Feature not available" message on the display. To resolve the issue I unplugged the stove and plugged it back in a few times. My wife has lost faith in the stove and we will be shopping for a replacement shortly. Whirlpool will not be on out list of stoves to look at and we will not be putting any more money into this stove and I recommend you do the same. For the price there are better stoves out there, this is not one of them.

Worst Range Ever

First, it only have 4 burners, but it states 5, which is a big problem. They sell as a 5 burners, it shows 5 burners on the top, but it only has 4. The one on the back left side supposedly have two burners in one, a medium and a large one, however, it has only a large one. I call tech support because I believed the medium one wasn't working, for my big surprise when the tech came he said that he does not understand why Whirlpool does that, showing a medium on the middle of the large one, whey it' states that has a medium in the middle because there's no medium one, only a large one and therefore it was all fine. everything working, I just bought a big Lie. So Whirlpool deceives it's costumers. Second, and this is what makes this range the worst ever. If you use any one of the the ovens, after is on for 4 minutes only, the fun starts and will stay on for the whole time you use it. It's loud, really loud. If after 5 minutes and with 140F you turn it off, the fun will continuously run for exactly 30 minutes. However, if you use it for about 30 minutes or more, the fun will start after only 4 minutes of use, it will run all the time and after you turn of, it will continually run for another 2 hours. Now you have a horrible noise in your kitchen and guess what, your electrical bill will go up, for a lot. Third problem, anything that you bake/cook on the oven takes for ever and ever. I had another Whirlpool before this one, some stuff that use to take about 20 minutes on our old one, now it takes at least 2 hours. Now this piece of junk not only is a time consuming, but again, my electrical bill it's away up because of the fun and because this thing just take to long to do anything. Piece of junk, that's what it is. The fact that Whirlpool brought this range to Canada and stop to produce in less then a year in the market should ring the bell big time. The concept is wonderful, if it would work without all this problems, but they don't even care to propose a solution.

Would give 5 stars for the stovetop but both ovens are horrible. Not true to temp and cooks unevenly. 2nd time I self-cleaned the entire stove died. Had to replace lots of cards and tech suggested not using the self-cleaning options... either heat or steam. Will destroy (burn) up the controls. Wish I had not purchased this. It is out of warranty now so I'm afraid to use self-clean functions. Would not recommend this unit to anyone. Also it takes hours for the oven(s) to cool down so I have to listen to the fans for a very long time.

Love the idea induction and double oven. Whirlpool did the worst build. Controls on stove top so anything liquid will shut it off. Computer module failed within first month. In less than 2 years 4 major repairs and last night while on self clean caught fire an is no junk. Inconsistent oven temps and performance ,noisy and poorly designed and built. This stove needs to be built by someone who knows what they are doing and can fix it if it fails. Whirlpool customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with.
