This electric range and oven has a modern design, but cost me $50 last night as it ruined my family's dinner plans. It's only 2 years old, and the oven shut off during cooking with a fault code "F8E0" for cooling fan speed too low. In this day and age in 2017, these types of electronic failures should not be happening after a couple years of using a brand new appliance. I am very unhappy I spent nearly $900 on this unit, and I can't expect it to work properly for more than a few years.

I wish I could give this oven less than one star. I have had this oven approximately 18 months, and cannot use the oven. Within one year, the relay pad had to be replaced. Now, error code that cooling fan is running too slow. I haven't called service yet. I think a brand new stove should work beyond 18 months! I had my previous Whirlpool stove for 36 years - only had electric element replaced one time. Whirlpool please feel free to contact me if you would like more information.

I wish I could give this oven less than one star. I have had this oven approximately 19 months, I have had not been able to use it for about 3 weeks. The upper fan went bad twice in the first 3 months. then we couldn't get it calibrated correctly. Then another time a wire inside came loose for no apparent reason. Now the final time the oven goes past set temp. I had it set at 350 degrees, the over was well over 650 degrees and it started to melt a silicone oven mitt. I am now waiting for the part to come in. This is the worst oven I have ever used in my life. I went with whirlpool because of their reputation. Its sad to say that I may never purchase from them again. Whirlpool please feel free to contact me if you would like more information. Thanks, Mike

I am very upset that within a few months of owning this stove, it has thrown the same error code, F8E0 throughout our use of it. As soon as the preheated oven gets to 180 degrees, it shuts off. As of now, no amount of resetting or turning the breaker off and waiting will do any good. When we press any oven function, the error code immediately displays on the screen. I am so upset. I thought this would be a solid buy and would be able to have this for a while in my new home. If this is how it functions in LESS THAN A YEAR, I can only imagine how many problems I will have years, or months, rather down the road. Whirlpool should be ashamed. I would really like to have a replacement model that does not have this problem. It is absurd that I am AFRAID to use my oven to cook a big meal for fear that it will shut off. And right now, it has permanently shut off!! Please send a replacement model.
