Dangerous heat vent (NO JOKE)

Bought a fridge, range, dishwasher and microwave set. No issues with dishwasher or microwave. Fridge has had a few annoying issues but the range. WOW...the top panel melted due to the crazy oven exhaust outlet that blows the hot air out between the stove cook top and the stove top panel. The instrument panel melted over a period of uses due to the hot air passing out from the vent but also being directed up under the metal top panel. When the repair man came and replaced the whole top piece it was remarkable the amount of charred and burnt wires underneath simply from the hot air being diverted underneath the top panel. Anyway, the panel still gets extremely hot to the touch but no melting yet even though replaced. We laugh about it a little but now but its not funny because under normal use of the oven the top panel (with the electronics) still gets so hot it'll burn you. Only a matter of time before it melts again or catches fire. I hope not but just a pain or only have had it 5 months and had these issues. Can't and don't recommend the fridge we bought or the range. Dishwasher and microwave have been good so far though.

I love the look, recently upgraded to a gas range. I Love it, the "but" is for the fact it is extremely scratchable. The way the grates lift you have to be very careful and make sure to pull toward you to not scratch the stainless steel.
