I bought this in May 2017. I am so disappointed with the lack of completely drying. My dishes are never fully dry, the walls are always covered in moisture and mildew has started to develop. I use a good quality (cascade advanced) detergent and Jet-Dry rinse aid every cycle. I've had many dishwashers over the years and never had issues with not drying the dishes except for certain cups on the top. But I shouldn't have to wipe my dishwasher down or leave the door open to dry it. I follow the recommendations for best drying results also.

I am on my 3rd control panel in less than 5 years and the plastic handle just broke. Using Whirlpool replacement parts but they last less than 2 years. The poor quality parts reminds me of domestic car quality circa 1970...and look what that did for their monopoly on the market. I am buy American, buy this product is an insult to American manufacturing.

Very disappointed. The heated cycle takes far too long--3 hours?! The top rack won't hold wine glasses or anything slightly taller than cups and small bowls. Cleans fine but the capacity is also way smaller than our old dishwasher.

do not like the long washing times, do not like thelack of choices in loading the items....poor design.. hate the racks to put silverware in.

The Maytag dishwasher has been a welcome addition to my new home, with one exception. Over the last month, the dishwasher began to change the time of the cycle shortly after the cycle begins. This happens when I select the normal wash cycle, a 1:51 cycle. At some point (I have not been able to catch the exact time on the display at which this occurs), the computer changes the cycle time to 2:52 minutes. This is an extra hour of dishwashing and there seems to be no logic to why the dishwasher does this. Otherwise, I've had no issues with it. If you or anyone has any suggestions as to why the dishwasher is changing the time of cycle, please share. It is not even a year old (I purchased it at Lowe's last fall).
