We are generally happy with this appliance glad we chose it. However, the cycle time is longer than usual.

This is my 2nd whirlpool dishwasher. The 1st one was stellar. I recently upgraded to a new whirlpool Dishwasher With the Sensor Cycle. It was easy to install, is exceptionally quiet when running, and meets my expectations for cleaning dishes and silverware.

I've only had this for a couple of weeks so I cannot determine longevity or durability at this point, but, it efficiently cleans the dishes and is very quiet. I'm not a big fan of the silverware basket which hangs next to the door. I find that it often gets in the way when opening and closing the door, however, I suspect it was engineered this way to maximize space for dishes in the lower rack.

So nice and quiet...love the blue light. My only complaint is the door closure and handle. I wish is was a locking door. I worry that the closing mechanism will wear out way before the dishwasher. In addition, the door handle is so recessed which makes keeping it clean rather difficult.
