I love the hands free component of this trash compactor. Great whenever you are prepping meals and need to toss something in the trash before moving on-you dont have to stop ehat you're doing, just tap the foot peddle. It quiet, quick and efficient. Love it!

The black door and handle always feels wobbly. I had the service folks check and fix it 3 times. Additionally, there is no easy way to know when it is compacting since the controls are on the inside. So if you try to open it and it is compacting it places even more stress on the already wobbly door. I was much happier with the Kitchen Aid compactor I had before. I got a new one because the Kitchen Aid had gotten very noisy but the Jenn is just as noisy and it is brand new.
