WE BOUGHT THIS July 19th installed it July 21th so pleased on it's operation. We replaced are old trash compactor. It was time!

Love our trash compactor. Makes taking the trash easy and less frequent than without a compactor. It would be helpful to have a larger foot pedal to open it and perhaps locating the compacting button so that it doesn't get bumped easily.

It does the job it is supposed to but is much louder than our previous compactor.

The new compactor is quieter but that is the only plus. It is cheaply made , it does not crush and hold it down, It is not going to last 30 plus years like my last one for sure. Made cheaply, cost much more!!!.

I have two trash compactor in other houses and they worked beautifully. This one's door wobbles back and forth terribly. I would think bring a Kitchen aid and the price it cost, it would be much better. It is much worse.
