Do not like settings that cannot be changed because of pre-programming. Heat/ dryness sensors confusing.

I purchased the Whirlpool Compact Heat Pump dryer to fit in a new tiny home. What a wonderful machine. Clothes come out soft and dry, and no venting! You need to follow the directions and not open the machine during the dry cycle, or the heat from the heat pump escapes and will make the drying time longer. If you keep the door closed and let the machine do the work, drying time is about 1/2 what is listed on the menu. I can wash a load of clothes in the matching washer in about the same time as it takes to dry a load. Machine makes a few new to me sounds, but not any louder than any other machine. Also, this little guy is packed with features. If you like all the gadgets, you can keep entertained for a long time. I would recommend this machine to anyone looking for a fully loaded, but compact unit.

Would give this a 0 star rating if I could. it will not dry my clothes. Two towels take about 4 hours to be damp enough to hang dry. I don't know how this is a product is sold as a dryer. I am so disappointed in whirlpool and would like a replacement.

Just tried to dry a set of flannel sheets in my new ventless compact dryer. After 3 hours of running, reducing to just one sheet I find there is no heat. Whirlpool has schedule someone to repair, repair company to come and inspect unit in two weeks.

I got the dryer a week ago. There are 3 things you need to take care of ;bottom filter, water tank, inner filter. I understand it is ventless dryer. It says` Clean the bottom filter every 5 cycles` in the manual. However, I had to clean the bottom filter every load. i think it is too sensitive the light doesn't go off sometimes. When the `clean bottom filter` red light is on, i can not use the dryer at all. I used ventless dryers before so it is not the first time i use. it needs over 2 hours drying time but they are still not dried. i turned it on again .even though i set normal dry again, It drys like 15 mins and stop. Is there any sensor that measure how dry they are? if so, it failed. My clothes and bedding are not dried. When the dryer finishes doesn't ring the bell. Im sure i heard it when i dried the first time . since then NO end notification. I really regret purchasing this dryer before launching without any reviews. If i can i would return it.
