Noisy Dryer - Damp Clothes

The Washer and Dryer came with the house less than two years ago. The dryer has become more and more noisy and our clothes are no longer drying. I have scheduled an appointment for this week and hope they can fix it. We have been extremely happy with our prior Whirlpool appliances and will be reverting back to Whirlpool if Maytag cannot fix the noise and drying issues.

Had an old dryer (14 yrs). Was starting to fall apart thought a new dryer made in the USA would be a good idea. It's quiet but clothes are damp even after full dryer time. Now making funny noises?

Can hear it one floor above! Starts out incredibly noisy

Extremely noisy. Purchased with matching washer. Called for service after a week. Service man came out, very nice, and told me that is the way they are made today, noisy. I traded in a 10 year old Kenmore working dryer so I could listen to this very very loud humming! Come on folks you are better than this. The above review says it is quiet in LV. How about a quiet one for me in Illinois

First, let me say how disappointed I am that it does not give me a choice to give less than one star. I think it's very presumptuous of Maytag to expect you to at least give one star. But a bad web experience is what I should've expected after dealing with customer service. In fact, the only thing worse than customer service is the product itself. My dryer is less than a year old, has been replaced once, never worked right, "fixed" four times, still broken, and now I get a letter in the mail asking me to "buy" a warranty? Wow, Maytag. This dryer and its menacing partner in crime the washer, which is also broken and sounds like shotgun blasts in a certain cycle, are the worst things my family has purchased ... ever.

Bought this 7 weeks ago to replace a 14 year old Kenmore which I now wish I had kept. It does dry cloths but with a very LOUD humming noise that I can here two rooms away with the door closed, and I might add I'm hard of hearing. I was hoping it would quiet down with use but it seems to be getting louder. I'm very disappointed with Maytag. I will be needing a new washer soon but not a Maytag or any brand associated with Maytag.
