I bought this dryer a couple of years ago to replace my 40-year old GE electric dryer which was fantastic until it finally died of old age, and wish I hadn't wasted my money. It works fine - yeah - but if all you want is a dryer that dries your clothes, bedding, and similar items, just get a plain ole dryer with a large capacity. I've used the steamer function and found that the clothes get too wet. I've used nearly every setting on an experimental level and found that the ONLY way I can get anything fully dry without having to reset it over and over and over again is to just leave it on the normal setting, with the highest heat and the driest level. Default settings don't do the job; I have to manually adjust it to the highest and driest levels or my clothes, towels, and bedding are still damp at the end of the cycle. Re the electronic stuff - big deal - I could have gotten that with a plain vanilla dryer for about half of what I paid for this thing with all its fancy-schmancy bells and whistles. If I had it to do over again, I'd opt for the cheap-o, large capacity model that just gets everything dry the first time.
