Hoping for good things

So I purchased this unit to simply be a workhorse for our busy family. No frills. I have a few concerns. The latch to close the dryer is 'difficult' and I fear will give me problems. It doesn't seem to want to close the door properly. And anyone knows that your unit will not work without the door shut. My next concerns is the door handle is flimsy and always slides out. I had to take it to stay put. I would recommend spending a few more dollars for a sturdier piece of equipment.

I had to replace my Speed Queen commercial heavy duty dryer after 24 yrs of service. So far the Whirlpool gas dryer has done a fantastic job!
