This machine lasted 1.5 years. The front panel board is shot. $765 plus service trip. No way!!! How does Maytag even sell this stuff!

This washer is excellent! The reviews note a problem with the door not having the option for right/left swing. I had the same issue, but changed my washroom utility arrangement (minor cost) and put my washer on the left and dryer on the right and the doors swing in the correct direction. No problem! Don't let the door issue stop you from purchasing this great machine.

I bought this without realizing that the door only opened to the left. Because my setup requires the washer to be right of the dryer I am always fighting to get the laundry over or around the door to get it in the dryer. My Neptune allowed me to change the door direction to the right side and I assumed this one would be the same. It isn't! I have physical limitations and picking clean damp laundry up from the floor isn't a lot of fun.

I love the functionality of this washer, many cycles/combinations to chose from and treats my clothes with care. The fact that the unit is not available with the door opening in either direction has caused me a significant issue in my laundry room. My laundry room is not small but trying to work with the depth and configuration of this model has me second guessing this purchase. Very disappointed.
