Whirlpool 4.5 cu.ft Front Load Washer with 12-Hour FanFresh(R) Option, 11 cycles

Great Laundry! One minor issue. The unit shut down mid load one time while washing blankets. Possibly due to balance. It self corrected after cutting the power. We haven't had any other issues. No mold smell. We leave the door open when not in use and wipe the gasket after use to recover dog hair. I would buy this laundry again.

This washer gets the job done. My husband farms and gets his clothes DIRTY! This machine can hold the large coveralls with room to spare. My only complaint is I wish the setting buttons were easier to read or lit up. I don't want to put my glasses on to start a load of laundry.

This appliance replaces a 8 year old Kenmore Elite Cabrio made by Whirlpool that I lived with a F1 code twice in a complete cycle for 6 of those years (Stop, Start, Stop, Start until it continue thru that area of the cycle). I was leery of a front loader for I have read reviews on mold/mildew building around the rubber gasket area. I am leaving the door ajar for better drying so this hopefully will not occur. I have just started using in the last week so I have not made use of all the features. I did also purchase the pedestals the first thought looking at it set up was that I lost my folding space by using the pedestals. Having not had to think about this before I would opt out of the pedestal. However, I am tall so this has not hampered (no pun) me thus far. This model is a little louder than I would have expected. I have noticed the spin cycle really does a fantastic job of getting the water out to the point the items seem almost completely dry when entering the dryer which is a plus.

This model is a lot noisier than my previous whirlpool front loader.
