I purchased this washer 13 months ago and now it will not agitate. It never adds enough water to clean the clothes. I will never buy or recommend this product to anyone.

I purchased this machine about 2 years ago when we updated all of our appliances in our home and this set has been less than the best. Both had problems from the start. Washer had a sensor problem, repairman came out changed a part and said all was fine, next week dryer didn't heat out comes the repairman changed a part worked ok. A little time went by and the dryer had a problem again not heating...had to pull the back of the machine apart to find a clip not plugged in causing it not to heat. Washer started having problems again, Aaron's came out and they said they unplugged it and reset it...??? Now that I have paid it out of the lease less than 8 months ago the washer doesn't work again...back to the laundry mat this weekend until I can find someone who can check it out for me. Grinding noise, bottom setting up out of the basket and spins while holding the drum still...was told it would be approximately 400.00.

Bought a Maytag Washer in Aug 2015. Motherboard is now shot and pump is broken. Out of warranty. Has a 10 year limited parts warranty but only for driver and shaft. Piece of garbage! Cheaper to go buy a new washer than to get this one fixed. Actually a Whirlpool with the Maytag name on it. Very disappointed.

I have had this washer for less than 2 years and the thing already broke. At first it seemed it wasn't fully rinsing and spinning our clothes, they were quite wet. Then today I noticed they weren't even washing our clothes- still had soggy wet baby food and dirt all over my sons stuff- now just wet, still filthy- gross. Thought maybe it just needed to run a good cleaning cycle, but now the dumb thing won't even start. The lid locks, sensing light goes on... it makes this awful "grinding" sound for a second like it's trying to start... then nothing. The lock lid and sensing light just sit and flash and the washer never starts. Contacted whirlpool customer service and they basically said since the washer is over a year old, tough break.

This washing machine isn't even 2 yrs old yet. No, I do not over load it. Don't know if it's the sensor or the gears, but doesn't finish the drain & spin cycle. If I wanted to wring clothes out, I'd wash them in the bathtub! I've never had a Maytag that's worked correctly for very long!
