Whirlpool 5.3 cu.ft Smart Top Load Washer with Remote Control

I rarely write reviews, which is odd given how religiously I use them to research major purchases. After our experience with the Cabrio set we purchased and the customer service we received in response to it, I decided a review was warranted. The dryer is subpar and doesn't dry consistently. The washer itself has been a nightmare. The energy, time and water wasted on the machine over the past six months is immeasurable due to it constantly being off balance. Our clothes aren't clean when it does manage to run a full cycle. It is truly a problematic machine. We have two control panels replaced this summer alone and the problem continues. Calls to Customer Service get us nowhere. And true disappointment set in yesterday after hearing how Greg, the fellow who took our call, spoke to my husband. Rude is an understatement...And again no resolution. We were basically told to deal with it and just keep calling for service/repairs. I hope this review helps someone avoid the headache this set has brought us. All of our appliances are Whirlpool...But I cannot say we will continue our loyalty to the brand that doesn't stand behind their products nor help loyal customers reach a resolution.

Great Machine. Little too loud though.

This machine didn't work out of the box. It took 3 control panels and 5 MONTHS to get this machine working. I can't convey how inconvenient it is to go without a washer for 5 MONTHS. All I can say is it works for now and every load I wonder when it's going to go out again. NOT dependable. I moved this to my second laundry room and bought LG for my main laundry room. No more new whirlpool products for me.

I have been disappointed with this machine since I got it it twist your clothes up and tie them in knots. They never seem to be clean or smell clean. Now it won't spin I keep getting an LF flashing and I can't use my washing machine. What a waste of money. Whirlpool you should be ashamed

Awful purchase. I am so disappointed in this set. Yes, Whirlpool got me for the dryer too. Nearly $3,000 for the set and I could have saved $2,000 and got a much better set. We have had these nearly a year, and with the washer, clothes come out with dry spots, tangled (yes I read the instructions) and still dirty (I read the detergent instructions too). I have tried the normal setting and deep water, small loads and large, but no matter what the clothes still have dry spots. Both the washer and dryer have difficulties connecting to the app at times, and will either stop giving notifications or show offline in the app. The remote start and send a cycle feature never worked right from day one. Also there are times that all the lights on the panel flash/blink like the circuit board it going out. Awesome.....I just can't believe we saved up for this, and paid extra for "smart" features. You guys got me this time, but now I know.
