I bought this less than a year ago to replace a 15-year-old Sub Zero, and I've already had to call for service. The compressor is not secured and rattles whenever the door is closed, and a part already fell off in the freezer section. It has clean lines and is very quiet, but I'm disappointed that, at this price point, the ice maker on/off is a wire arm and not a button on the control panel. One should not have to reach into the ice compartment on a bottom freezer and feel around to turn on/off the ice maker.

I purchased this refrigerator to replace a 25 years old Subzero series 550. My old subzero a bit more shelf space and a smaller freezer than my new Kitchen Aid refrigerator. My new fridge is extremely quiet, well designed and very well made. I only hope it will last me for the next 25 years.

I owned it for about a month now. It is a super quiet, well built refrigerator. It is large enough for a family of 4, although I food shop twice a week for my growing kids.

I think this model is too small. It is just my husband and myself, however I'm a cook and this model is too small for us.

The Refrigerator has only been installed for a week and is an outstanding appliance-runs VERY quiet, in fact you do not realize that it is working. Keeps all food items very fresh. I would purchase another one if needed. Thank You Kitchen Aid
