This fridge has been a welcome change from our old one. It is shallow, so slightly smaller than what I was used to, but I can see EVERYTHING in the fridge. Almost everything I need fits well and I think it's deisgn will actually help us waste less food because nothing will get "lost." My two hang-ups: 1.) We have three kids. We buy more than one gallon of milk per week, but you can only fit one gallon in each door. There is plenty of room for half-gallon or smaller, but that isn't our life. This is disappointing since I like to organize my fridge with similar items grouped together. 2.) The doors stay partially open and don't close softly! The are heavy and unless opened fully (more than 90 degrees open), they will slam shut on you unless you hold it open. For me this is annoying, but when they close on my toddlers, it is a little more of a problem.

So I previously had a Sub-Zero. I am writing this in comparison to the Sub-Zero. The main reason I bought this fridge is because it was 3k less than the Sub-zero. I can't justify paying that much for just a fridge. As far as the fridge itself, I like the look. The LED lighting is nice and bright. It seems so much smaller than my other fridge, esp the freezer. Oh well. I also did not opt for the water and ice dispenser. That would have taken out about 1/8 of the already modest fridge space. Also, I hear that increases problems by a lot. So far, I have had it for about 2 months. Working well.

So far so good.

So we are the first owners of a brand new home with this built-in fridge installed. The left door squeaks incessantly. There's a rotating center element that acts as a seal which is attached to the left door - it's coming off. This is a badly designed refrigerator and also shows evidence of bad workmanship. I would go out and purchase a SubZ or some other replacement if I didn't have to shell out nearly $9K for the privilege. Don't buy this thing. Go elsewhere, get a better product. We had repairmen in the house today trying to fix it - and they have to come back again with the parts. Not worth the aggravation!
