I hate this ice maker!!

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I replaced our old KitchenAid ice maker with this one. After 1 year the fan went out, it was under warranty, but the new fan did not have the noise reducer that the other fan came with. The noise is horrible. I wish I had bought a Scott's ice maker.
