we replaced our ice maker with this one and have been completely pleased. the settings for Max Ice versus regular is energy saving, too. the only negative is that it does make a lot of strange noises, but I think that is just the nature of the ice maker beast.

This is a nice, hard working ice maker. It is quiet, we'll made and efficient.

I purchased this for my basement bar. It has worked perfectly!! Makes crystal clear ice by the "ton". I love that it comes with an inline water filter. I highly recommend this ice maker.

Makes great ice & so far is extremely reliable. Love the black color for my new kitchen. Had problems with my old one (must say Kitchenaid was very supportive in their service & did everything could to help me!)
