The purchase was to replace a 25 year old side by side. We have had the refrigerator 3 weeks. We looked along time for the right one. We thought we wanted another side by side but the more we looked we thought a French door would be ideal because we felt the freezer drawer would let out less cold air when open. I also didn't care for the shinny stainless steel which is everywhere. We were looking at Whirlpool for their reliability when we found the black stainless steel! We read the reviews and found some helpful. My review is it runs quiet, holds a lot of food. The freezer especially. The ice maker does take up a lot of room and could be smaller. The long drawer at the bottom is great but you have to be careful it's closed before you shut the door. The lighting could be brighter inside. The finish is beautiful and is smudge proof and looks wonderful in my kitchen. Overall I would recommended this and I'm pleased with our choice. Also, one of the best thing is it's made in the USA!

I 've had this unit for 3 weeks and it works perfect. However, there is no separate ice tray to pick ice from. Also, the factory setting of Fridge @ 38 is really 31 inside (should be 35). A little louder than my other Fridge. Overall - it's a super buy!!!
