This unit replaced a Kenmore unit that was 20 yrs old. I love the smooth top, and enjoy the options of selecting the correct "burner" size. The cook-top is very efficient with spacing and options. I LOVE the size of the oven!

Oven is cavernous and performs well. I haven't yet used the cleaning cycle but it seems like a great idea. It does take longer to preheat than my previous oven (12 years old, similar Kitchenaid model), perhaps because it is such a large space. I don't like that the control does not show the time the oven was started. Range top has black glass, which shows smudges and every particle of dust. The previous model had white and gray speckles, which showed less. The pans that fit the last model are not perfect for this one, but will do. The stovetop controls are too subtle; it's very easy to think it's turned off when it's half on. Also, it's strange that the warming burner control is along with oven controls (thus the oven control must be unlocked) instead of with the other burner controls. I do like that locking the controls takes only 3 seconds. The storage drawer gets quite warm when oven in use. It is smaller than previous. It's also often left a little open because it doesn't close easily.

Slide-in design should include a horizontal overhang on top edges to cover the narrow gap with the cabinet sides, so that customers aren't forced to buy the "optional" trim kits. Leveling legs design is very cheaply made.
