We bought this disposal from my a couple of weeks ago and are vry pleased with it's operation. It definitely does a better job than our old generic model. KitcheAid makes some incredible products.

I purchased this to replace the very old kenmore garbage disposal. The mounting point was the same, so it made the install very quick. This unit is very quiet and has plenty of power for everyday household use. The sound insulation properties of this disposal and the price point, is what makes this disposal stand out from the competition.
