We have had our refrigerator for a week now and could not be happier with the way it cools and keeps food fresh. The only problem is that we tend to open the door and just stand there watching the theater-style lights come up and illuminate the contents. It's quite a feast for the eyes.

I like the refrigerator a lot but after remodeling my kitchen and installing ALL KitchenAid appliances, I've ad major problems with every one of them. In fact, this is a new refrigerator only because my first one couldn't be repaired and was not very old. So as much as I like this refrigerator, and I really do, I hesitate to recommend any KitchenAid appliance.

Love the platinum interior! Keeps food cold and fresh!

Oh my goodness, had this refrigerator installed 45 days ago and can't believe how well it keeps our food cold and fresh! Also love the look of the handles and the interior! Works great and looks great, couldn't ask for any more.And almost forgot about the automatic shutting drawers...nice!

My wife and I liked the platinum color interior. I think some of the plastic shelving is not all that well finished. Some covers don't close all the way. One thing I don't like at all is that the inside light does not go on until you've open the door a foot or two. I prefer instant on.
