We bought this stove a few weeks ago, so nice to have a stove that works!! I am not in love with the Aqua Clean! It doesn't work. Tried cleaning the oven a couple of days ago after cooking a chicken pan recipe for dinner. The recipe had chicken and vegetables on a sheet pan. It splattered quite a bit so the oven got dirty. The Aqua clean cycle did not remove any of the grease splatters. I had to clean the oven by hand with the recommended cleaner and sponge. Lots of work, not what I expected! I would not purchase this type of stove again.

This Range is Magnificent. I was worried about using a glasstop but, it's fabulous. I am in love with the oven. It's spacious and I can use regular bake or convection. The three racks are a must have!

After only 15 years of dedicated service and its' first service call I had to replace my stove due to "no replacement parts available". This was not what I wanted to hear as I really, really did like my old stove. It had a big self cleaning oven with hidden element, big storage drawer; a ceramic glass top with 1 double burner, 3 additional burners all of which had their own "hot surface" light and a warming zone with variable settings; knobs for the surface and electronic controls for the oven. It was the stove of its' time. I mention all of the above to let you know which ever brand I bought had a lot to live up to, so I did my research. Stoves have not changed to much in the past 15 years. Manufacturers have added more electronics/computer functions, i.e., special pre-settings for cooking frozen foods, fast-boil et cetra and adding convection cooking to just about all ovens. You can still buy a simple stove or go for the bells and whistles. The biggest change, (Thank you Government Intervention) is in the self cleaning method, it has changed from high heat to steam which uses less electricity and time. We the consumers are more responsible for our daily clean up than before. To me this will not make a difference because I was taught a long time ago, "take care (clean) of your tools, you don't know what you will get if you have to replace them." In conclusion this stove is a different brand, but very similar in size, design and features. I will need to work on my convection cooking, but other than that, life is good.
